National Park Krka

The NP Krka National Park encompasses the area along the Krka River, which flows through a deep and picturesque canyon 75 km long, forming noisy waterfalls: Bilušića buk, Miljacka, Brljan, Rošnjak, Manojlovački slap, Roški slap, and the famous Skradinski buk (Krka Waterfalls - 46 m), which is the largest travertine barrier in Europe.

Two cultural and historical monuments stand out in NP Krka: the Franciscan Monastery on the island of Visovac and the Monastery Krka. Visovac is located in the heart of Krka's expansion, where the green water dissolved the karst plateau, creating a harmonious combination of natural and cultural heritage. Surrounded by the Miljevački plateau and the beautiful Rupsko field, which laborers have united with the beauty of the blue lake in their arms, Visovac has withstood the storms of historical difficulties through the centuries. Its irresistible, charming cliff, in the abundance of nature, which monks have turned into an island full of trees, colorful flowers, fruits, and vegetables, irresistibly attracts tourists.
